A Vibrant big city comfort cased the main strip of center city Charlotte on August 29th 2015. The Betchler Museum of Modern Arts held a crowd of fashion enthusiast, spectators and experts Presented by Fashion DLux!

Welcoming weather and city lights, one couldn't help but to mingle outside of the event until the show began. The ambience was perfect, and on the sidewalk...Porsche, Bentley, Lamborghini... Ah ! No better way to greet your stylish expectations than to issue Metrolina Auto Group as a sponsor. Catering provided by "Menu's Restaurant"... Dainty H'ordeves and more. The taste was light yet savory. Very poised and mod staff. Ideal for the posh milieu.

The red carpet graced the entrance with interviews taking place with stars such as Grammy Award winning, Platinum recording artists and North Carolina native "Fantasia", By Staple Fashionista Jennifer Michelle. Along with flashing cameras from some of the cities most reputable photographers. The atmosphere was perfect for networking and getting to know "who's who." Definitely gave a breath of fresh air to Charlottes fashion world. Giving it a place to expand and gain leverage as a Fashion Capital dare I say?... Fashion DLux is very up to speed with the cities fast pace growth and expansion. It's right on time and just what is needed.

.....And the show begins!

(People moving to and fro, The place was chichi, plush and exclusive...Setting the runway a flame was Nordstrom.)

NORDSTROM
The lines were very clean cut, modern with that European feel. A lot of black and white, crisp contrast. Clean. Sophisticated. Most suits seemed to be of and Italian cut. Fitted, sleek, modern. The line caters to both sexes. High Quality fabrics. Dare I say sexy? Suave comes to mind when watching the models strut up and down the Ivory Lane. Runway style but still very practical for City work wear. Again, very clean line as models are polished with slick ponytail and flawless nude makeup.
Wool, sheer patterns, silk with floral prints. Fur and many modernized tweeds.

Hugo Boss was up to its tricks! Dark colored suits, nice cuts, Comfort, classic line, everything that Hugo usually brings. Met expectations.... displaying men's underwear which kept the females at attention! Ladies.....one small boxed must have on this years bucket list for lovers! Hugo Boss also displayed men's unique jogging sweat suits. Fitted tayloring gives a 80s comfort feel. Valor/terry cloth. Surely a need with a touch of Pizazz!

TORIOLA
"FRESH, SOPHICATED...EDGY"
This seasons line lots of prints and silks. Brings a summer feel to winter. A lot of purples, dark hues with various different, fabrics  and draperies. Toriola expressed the utilization of soft materials. Models came with more of an edge yet Contemporary and worldly. Head pieces were a stamp for this seasons display. Its an Afro-Chic vibe with a Peacock feel to the patterns. Models wore teased hair giving the line an exclamation point. Somewhat of a bohemian feel. Great Job!

SAKS FIFTH AVENUE  OFF FIFTH
So ....lace is really hot this season! With lots of leathers, big hair and a Oriental feel. Its hard to box this designer! This comes stuffed with many aspects of different directions using many textures of leather this fall! Sporty and stylish outerwear. We were pleased to witness everything from the college prep to leather and lace! Mastering the trendy, Big city feel. So much versatility in the jacket department with cuts and designs for 2015's Desires.

PORCHE DESIGN
(Last But Far From Least!)Porsche Designs Display is NUTTS! When I say "Time for School Children" I don't mean juveniles! If there's a lesson to be taught on style... This was it! Out comes quality fabrics such as Premium leather inner and outer wear. Its a perfect display of wool Linings and Dominant stitching. Its like there flagship automobile hitting the streets for the first time. Female and male ranged from soft to hard terrain  wardrobes. The handbags cuts were the definition of City Sleek! The models looked like really nice wallets walking down a runway. Its New York City 2056. Mysterious Aviator meets city wear.

Amazing trenches, Bombers and even Chic dress wear. This line is the future.... And the future is NOW!

THE POSSIBILITY PROJECT

Following a great intermission, We were touched by a great performance by Non Profit Organization...The Possibility Project As follows
Speech:

"I'm a lot different now since one year ago, I've evolved since then.""What has changed? Well let us tell you about our journey" It's time for a change. One day I walked into a room at spirit square. Black kids, white kids, Latino kids, all dealing with the same things. Racism, sexism, ageism, we all had a connection. It was my responsibility. I thought I was in a separate universe, but I was wrong. I woke up, we can wake up. The more we learn, the more we are engaged. We have the power. We have the voice. We can wonder free. Run and make a change and help to make a difference. We are a lot different now. More than a year ago my perspective has changed. Differently, drastically. I finally see in color. I'm wide awake. I found my voice to be art. Young leaders guiding community in a productive direction to make a change. You take your direction and put it out there. Feel the difference. The people of charlotte is power. FEEL THE DIFFERENCE. They represent the designer, they represent the initiative. Help out a generation. Make a change, FEEL THE DIFFERENCE!!!"

To end the night, coordinator Joshua Angelero wished supporters a promising future for Fashion D'Lux...

..."I am so thankful for you guys. We had a amazing time. We really want for fashion blogs to bring a fresh perspective to charlotte from a industry standard. We want to encourage Charity and Non Profit Organizations. Continue to support Fashion DLux and its endeavors. Stay tuned for the projects to come. We are going to turn charlotte into a force to be reckoned with. Goodnight!! -Joshua Anglero-
